Well it's 11 am and I've already shoveled the walk and driveway.

Somebody get this girl a sticker for her chore chart!

Somebody needs a new hobby....

Warman Sunday Afternoon Players present:
The Three Little Pigs

Once upon a time, there were three little pigs.  They set off into the world.

The first pig was all about global warming and climate change.  He built a house of straw.

This guy built a house of sticks.

The last pig took his time. He saved up, used a budget and made a plan.  He had a spreadsheet.  He built this sturdy, practical brick house.

They were all neighbors.  This turned out to be a good thing....

Because one day...along came The Big Bad Wolf

"Little pig, little pig - let me in!"

"Are you nuts? Not by the hair on my chinny chin chin!"

"Then I'll huff, and I'll puff, and I'll BLOW YOUR HOUSE DOWN!"

"Oh, jeepers...."

The first little pig hightailed it over to his brother in the stick house.

"Hey, let me in, TBBW is on his way!"

"Little pig, little pig - let me in!"

"Not by the hair on my chinny chin chin!"

"I'm totally going to blow your house down"
Done.

The two pigs scrambled over to their reliable brother in the brick house.

"Hey, you gotta let us in!  TBBW is on his way over here!"

"Come on in, I'm making stew"

"So, like I said....Little pig, little pig let me in!"

"No can do.  Nope.  No sirree.  Not by the hair on my chinny chin chin"

"Blowin' your house in now"

"Go for it.  So not going to happen"

The wolf couldn't blow the brick house down.
He was so mad, he stomped off and was never heard from again.

THE END.

Treena - these are for you!

When we were in Calgary in July, Treena gave Maddie the most perfect gift: a small suitcase filled with doll clothes from when she was a little girl. Maddie adores it! She dressed everyone up especially for this photo shoot and then had me come and join them. Looks like Catherine missed out though. The yellow is my most favorite (with a hat from Grandma Pollock to finish the look).

Check out the blue leisure suit!

Introducing Madeleine's Very Own Blog. When we cleaned out the basement I found my first digital camera and gave it to Maddie. She took all of these pictures herself. Watch out Auntie Lisa...there's a new photographer in the family!

Enjoy!

"Mommy, let me make a big bum spot for you."
